Simply fun to listen
The first half of this CD is just so groovy! Chicago’s very own Lou Rawls…if you grew up on WGN (Baseball, Cubs and Sox) that was a tag line on their commercials. I never knew how cool Lou Rawls was back then. I know now.
That woman is strong! I like that!
Yep, she looks like my sister-in-law that lives and works a 300 head cattle ranch in British Columbia. Tough lady.
nothing like a little after diner music with a home roasted espresso…
The Remix…goosebumps again. Dear Prudence. It’s such a pleasure to discover this new. One the one hand I can’t believe I didn’t know and on the other it’s a blessing to discover this new. Years after my burning hot flame of passion for The Beatles’ music dimmed.
I’m not listening but am curious what some opinions are.
I think it’s brilliant. I’ve seen the show in Vegas three times. Took my two daughters when my youngest turned 21. The sound system in the theater was fantastic. Loud but not too loud…just right.
They have always found a way to bring me back. Marketing…of course. They’ve always been at the intersection of hype and talent. Few have threaded the needle so well.
Title song and oh heaven does it sound good!
oh how I wish this wasn’t a DR of 6 but oh how good is this performance…band and singer locked in.
Dr Dog, The Old Days For @Cardi, a great spin song a 120 rpm. Long may you Run
A super groovy song with a bass line that’s just spot on…sounds amazing with Snowmass. More subtle depth. My system gets out of the way of itself more with Snowmass.
Take a listen to “I Need More Time” and try not to relate…at least those of us on this site that fit the demographic…
We live in a time of unprecedented riches in nearly everything…and it’s a good thing!
Wanna hear your stereo in big 3D sound…give this a spin.
