What is correct method for connecting a sub woofer through the Stellar DAC Preamp?

I think we may need to take a step back because this has be really confused.

You have the sub hooked up LFE from the Anthem, and I assume you’re going high level in from the amp?

OK, taking a step back…
I have 3 pieces of equipment, The Anthem A/V MRX520, the S300 and Stellar gain cell dac/pre.
I run the PC to the Dac /Pre from pc’s USB to USBon the PS . there is no connection to the sub on that leg.
Then I have the blu ray/Humax box and TV connected by HDMI to the Anthem. And have the sub connected to the Anthems sub out to the subs LFE by a sub RCA lead, ok?
What has been suggested is that I run the High Level (Neutrik) from the connection at the sub, taking the red and white wires, and connecting them to the terminals (that have the banana plugs in currently) on the S300 power amp.
And having done this, switching the knob on the sub, from LFE to High Level.
To me, this would just get any signal from any source (A/V or PC) going through the power amp, to activate the sub.
Its not a life or death thing to get everything working. I just have to get used to just having my music FLAC files playing in 2 channel, as opposed to 2.1
Many thanks for your help, understanding and patience. An answer to my problem would be just to go back to using my Anthem amp with a Audioquest Dragonfly cobalt attached to the PC, like I did beore, and selling the PS gain cell dac/pre… I am joking, the PS unit is not at fault, Ior the BK subwoofer must be

OK, thanks for the details. From what you’re describing, it sounds like you’re doing everything correctly. Because you’re not getting coherent bass when going high level from the S300, my guess is that something is up with the HL input on the sub.

thats my thought too. Maybe time to upgrade to another sub, maybe a REL, altho I think there are others like SVS or MJ Acoustics (manufactured 40 miles from me)
