I have my CD’s organized by genre, with a separate reject pile of a combination of poor recordings and or undesirable musical content.
It’s not to surprising that improving one’s system can also at times elevate the sound of poor recordings, but what has surprised me, it can also go a long ways to improving one’s appreciation of the musical content.
I like Pink Floyd, but I found some of their recording not all that interesting, but after making some upgrades, I find myself really enjoying some of these previous Pink Floyd recordings I never really got into. Somehow all the weird sound effects make sense to me now.
