Where to buy Steven Wilson remix LP's?

I’m trying to find somewhere to buy Steven Wilson’s remixed LP’s.

At the moment I’m looking for this one:
Thick as a Brick The Steven Wilson 2012 Stereo Remix, Chrysalis / 0825646146468

I’ve gone to his website where they aren’t for sale for some reason. Checked Discogs and all the usual suspects like Music Direct and Acoustic Sounds.

Anyone know where to find them?

when I search for that catalog number it keeps bringing up the CD version. So. . . perhaps there is a different catalog number for the LP.

Elusive Disc shows this as backordered and the catalog number 825646139507

There are nany copies available on discogs

https://www.discogs.com/release/24027515-Jethro-Tull-Thick-As-A-Brick

Is this it? Release date says 2022, but it states it is a half speed master of Steven’s 2012 remix.

Found this on Discogs:

Thick as a Brick

…and this as well:

Thick as a Brick

Thanks guys.
I was pulling that number off the website that I linked to in the 1st post.

I’m wondering if all his rematers were available on vinyl, or just some of them?

Can’t say I’d pursue the Steve Wilson remix LPs or CDs, as I’ve moved on from the Prog Rock genre he attends to. I did find this and with a little detective work one may be able to track down LP versions:

Thanks.
I’ve seen that page.
Nope, I’ll always be a prog rock fan. There’s not a whole lot that I don’t like.

As an example here is a Lark’s Tongue and Aspic Steve Wilson Remix on LP, 2023 release.

Lark’s Tongue and Aspic

Still can’t get into King Crimson, I’ve tried.

HaHa!

Hey, I made the effort

I’m wondering why you would want to listen to a digitally mastered LP. You’ll get the best sound quality from the hi res files on the Blu-ray (listened to directly or ripped).

Normally I’d agree with you, except in this case.

I have (so far) his remasters of Chicago II and Aqualung on vinyl. I can also hear these same remasters on Qobuz. They are both great sounding, but vinyl still has that… Something that makes it nicer to listen to.

I also don’t have a way to rip a Blu-Ray (I think). Wish I had a way to rip some of these SACD disks that I own.

One potential venue is a FB group dedicated to SW’s Remixes, where you can probably get some meaningful information:

Another is a compendium of SW’s art, across genres and bands. Here’s the link:

Take care.

If your ears prefer vinyl, then that’s the way to go. I always recommend trusting your ears.

To rip files from a Blu-ray, you need a a Blu-ray drive to hook up to your computer plus appropriate software. I use MakeMKV to unlock the Blu-ray contents, and then DVD Audio Extractor to create WAV or FLAC files. There are several threads about this topic on the Steve Hoffman Music Forums.

It would be nice if all of the Steve Wilson remixes were available for download in Hi Res. Unfortunately, it’s hit or miss, mostly miss.

Wow thanks.
I have the FB page, but that book is incredible.

The only BluRay’s I can’t rip using MakeMKV are the PF releases and Amused to Death. Luck and Strange however ripped with ease. But everything else is no problem to rip.

The problem may be your drive instead of the software. I bought a second Blu-ray drive (different brand) because there were a few discs that my main drive just doesn’t like. But they ripped fine in my backup drive.
