Where to get 24k gold wire?

I guess you didn’t see the humor in it either.

Well, I believe different materials have their own sound characters. Do I believe expensive material such as gold sounding better? No.

I did… How would I express that I understood humor? I’m autismo, bigtime.

Cost has nothing to do with this.

Yes. It’s subjective which pleases one most. Gold, again referring to the reviews, might not fit a particular system or might be too “relaxed” or whathaveyou for someone. I have been saying that in accounts of people audioning gold cabling they have noted it is different, oh and of course it’s different but here, remarkably so, apparently.
I’m sure I would personally consider it one of the better conductors. I’m hypersensitive to a certain range of high-mids and treble. Gold would be my shining saviour!

Agreed! Merry Christmas!

I do a lot of DIY stuff, and have had a lot of good luck with Russian silver plated .999 OFC copper wire. You can find it on Ebay, once in a while. I usually use 22 gauge wire, and do a 4-conductor braid. When I make RCA cables, I use gold- plated plugs. I used to use silver solder, until Radio Trash went out of business. Harder to find for a good price now. Recently, I’ve used Cardas Audio Solder. Don’t have any experience with gold wire. Probably won’t either.

Here’s hoping you get some solder fumes up your nose in the New Year.

Electronically,

Thanks for the motivation.
I’ll do the soldering with a corona mask on. Don’t want tin up my lungs. Actually, considering gold, no solder is required as gold lattice will stick to itself with not much energy required. Have to figure out how to do that in DIY manner…

I just spent my shekels on ICONOCLAST, next step will be DIY, I promise.
