Looks intriguing. Unfortunately I couldn’t find it on Qobuz.
yeah - its what we used to call “a record” that I bought “back in the day” ; )
I remember records! However, since I no longer have a turntable the fact that I thoughtlessly failed to buy it ‘back in the day’ is no longer relevant
Someone on Spotify created a playlist contained seven of the tracks on the “We Do 'Em Our Way” LP. “Nights in White Satin” is hilarious.
I don’t have Spotify, but I managed to find The Dickies’ version of Nights in White Satin on Qobuz. It has elements to recommend it, principally its brevity compared to the original.
Damning with faint praise?
I wrote that it was hilarious, not that it was good .
Jeez, I hope you manage to listen to the end of the track.

9:55 Saturday morning with cold coffee. I hope you two, Bootz and Chris, don’t get to defensive. I will pour another cup and wait to see fireworks.

Maybe not first-thing in the morning fare…but an eye opener and a laugh for sure.
My favourite punk cover is Nina Hagen’s version of ‘My Way’. It was a song I detested in its original version and to hear it parodied so effectively was pure joy.
Both on the B-side of Def Leppard’s Adrenalize licorice pizza
Rather obscure combination of talents
They have good influences. Always liked their stuff.
This JRAD show has some other great covers besides Dead. Atlantic City, In Memory of Elizabeth Reed, and Another Brick in the Wall.
Downloaded this (FREE) from Archives.org in 24x96. Great recording and you can’t be the price. Here’s the link:

Nice countrified take on the classic 1975 Pink Floyd tune. This 2017 single is streaming on Qobuz in 24/44.1 PCM quality.
