I remember records! However, since I no longer have a turntable the fact that I thoughtlessly failed to buy it ‘back in the day’ is no longer relevant

Someone on Spotify created a playlist contained seven of the tracks on the “We Do 'Em Our Way” LP. “Nights in White Satin” is hilarious.
I don’t have Spotify, but I managed to find The Dickies’ version of Nights in White Satin on Qobuz. It has elements to recommend it, principally its brevity compared to the original.

My favourite punk cover is Nina Hagen’s version of ‘My Way’. It was a song I detested in its original version and to hear it parodied so effectively was pure joy.
