Yeah usually the updates are done in a few minutes. I left it for Over ten minutes and still blinking.

Is the behavior the same whether or not the SD card is in place?
No. When I turn on without the SD card. Itās just black on the front light. No response on touchscreen neither.

I wonder if you took the SD card out and turned the power off from the rear.
Then holding the front button in and keeping it in while turn the rear power on would get you into the part where you can do the screen orientation. At least then you would know if the screen isnāt fried. I donāt have my DSD any more but I think thatās how it would work.
Thx Veneet. Iāve broke the DSD into my local audio shop to check it out following a lengthy home rescue effort. Letās home itās only a software issue.
