Those direct sale events pay off…after 30 years or so I’d estimate
(It’s a shopgoodwill acquisition that finally arrived yesterday)

If it plays music it’s good.

The CD player still works. The built-in RCAs cables are…very 1988. I’m just pretending I was 16 again.
That’s great. We have a Bose Wave radio that does not even have a CD player. It does have RCA jacks on the back though and decades ago I had one of those Walkman CDs players hooked up to it.
We still use today it as an alarm clock. Like an animal, we have to get up to push the buttons on the unit since the remote died years ago. ![]()
The best part is we got it for free back in the day when you they just gave rewards points on your credit card and I saved the points to get it. Never imagined we would still have it nearly 40 years later.
I had a BOSE system in my 1999 Mercedes Benz E320, and I hate to say it, but it was fantastic for a car system. It was so emmersive and ambient sounding it took the top seemingly off the car. Eventually the fiber optic tether got intermittent with the CD unit in the trunk. Drove me nuts stopping and resetting it for who knew how long before it said carousel is not installed again.
Best, Galen
