Pretenders “Extended Play” in 1981 (7th grade). I still own it but it is thoroughly trashed from years of being played on a Technics SL-B200 with a $22 AudioTechnica cartridge.
Pretenders was also my first concert in 1984 at the long departed Sam Houston Coliseum in Houston, Tx. Honeyman Scott and Pete Farndon were already deceased, but man that new lineup still rocked.
Saw them again in 2017, I think.

First album I ever bought was Yes, Yessongs. My sister is about 5 years older than me and she had a boyfriend who listen to all sorts of great stuff. I was probably 13 or 14 years old. The triple album live set was a bargain. I still have it, although it’s pretty rough. The turntable we had at the time wasn’t much and I didn’t know about cleaning records then.
first “album” a 78 record: Nat King Cole, “Too Young” I was about 12 or 13 I think. Yes, I was in love and it was going to last forever!

I have the Rascals greatest hits on CD and really liked them when I was a teenager. I still listen to the CD every now and then. I saw them at a Cleveland rib burn off in the mid to late 80’s. They were originally known as the Young Rascals.
