I see they offer financing…lol
Yeah, and Fernando is a very nice guy…
Our couch is nice, but it’s not that nice the second night.
Just arrived - a gorgeous pair of Zu Audio DW6 in rustic hickory. Still playing with position, but really love them so far.
Those look great, I can only imagine how they sound. I had tthe Soul 6 on my short list and decided to go in a different direction. I’ll always wonder if I should have gone with the Soul6 or the Omen Def Supreme. Selecting speakers was so much simpler when a local demo could be arranged.
Always heard Zu speakers where fun, and that that they are. The thing that I’m really noticing about the DW6 is the bottom end. Keeps surprising me when listening to a known recording and everything sounds at it should then out of nowhere there there’s this deep bass that is fast and solid - that I didn’t even know was there. Like having a sub almost.
Breaking them in should be fun, enjoy the ride. Speaking of bass I ended up wih these for an entirely different sound.
Wow! That’s very nice.
Your system?
Wait time for Passlabs XA60.8’s. April~May according to Mark (Reno Hifi)!
I’m tempted by the X260.8’s. They are available. They run in Class A up to 34W. That would be enough at my listening levels with plenty in reserve. I’m not sure that my ears would discern the difference between the two amps.
You could go even bigger:
Tempting but out of my price range that I have set for myself.
The 260.8s are great amps. I’m quite pleased with them. If you have a chance to get them at a good price, I’d say go for it!
And they are wireless!
Attaboy!!!
Awesome

That is Ze’ev Schlick’s system. My summer cottage system is very similar to his, Pass XA-25, and looking to upgrade the Threshold TEN/e HL or Coda 02b preamps with somenting more current. Most likely a Pass XP-12, maybe an XP-22.
Yes, indeed as included in my post. It is from Pure Audio Project’s website for the Trio 15 Classic webpage. As they are at my summer cottage now I posted a n image from PAP. Mine are identical, but do have the speaker wire option, wireless they sounded lifeless.
My Gryphon Commander Preamp is back online after the bunny ate and destroyed one of its cables. I had properly repaired the damaged cable. The problem was the not quite high quality power sockets on the back of my P20. Once I had that sorted the Commander lit up properly. As outstanding as the Preamp function is on the BACCH-SP adio, the Commander is quite welcome back.
