I don’t know how he changed her mind, but they’re keeping the rack.
He probably agreed to double the size of the kitchen.

For my Grimm MU2 upgrade, I’m looking at airline deal to Japan every day. It’s part of the contract with my boss, I got hotels settled so far to make her happy😢

I have been opening up Audiophile grade LPs that I have had for along time. Christening them in the gentle Kirmuss routine. A 2015 release of Talkie Walkie by Air. 180 gram feels like 500 gram. Following the instructions is pretty easy. It is starting to feel like “Why the heck would you not do this?”. The happy discovery is I was all worried about drying the vinyl. But other then some water from the portion of the disc that was submerged, it is basically dry. Each side takes about a minute to brush, dry and polish each side. A new ritual.
Sound-wise new vinyl is silent, a new silence. It is glorious!
I haven’t touched my Degritter since this arrived.
And I got a new DAC.

If I remember correctly, Al has settled with the DAC in MU2, but he’s got a number of other DACs too. I am not sure which one is the favorite of the month. They are like king’s concubines that got rotated often.
