Your Next Upgrade? (Part 2)

I saw this on the Internet so it must be true:

The first known car accident occurred in 1891 in Ohio , involving one of the earliest gasoline-powered vehicles. The driver was James Lambert, an inventor and automobile pioneer who was testing his newly developed gasoline-powered buggy.

I almost got one of these to replace my Rowland Continuum S2, but it had wayyyy more functionality than I needed. Thing’s a beast, though.

I finally went to my friends house to listen to his My Sonic Lab cartridge and I gotta say it’s really a step up in performance to his Goldfinger cartridge that cost even more. Maybe the Goldfinger is showing it’s age. One of the albums I brought over to demoe is “Pulse” and talking about bringing live instruments into the room. This cartridge can do it in spades! Super quiet background and extraordinary resolution, and the dynamics, oh my, the dynamics, as only a turntabe and cartridge of this calibre can bring! My brother also bought this cartridge replacing his old Benz LPS and in my opinion, it transformed his system from just ok to putting a nice smile to my face. A cartridge can indeed make a huge difference in a system.
Here are some pictures of my friend’s system and the record that blew me away.

I know you’re focused on the turntable & cartridge, but that CJ GAT preamp with good solid state amps is one killer combo, as you already know.

Yes indeed, that’s one of the best preamps I’ve ever heard!

I like your friend’s cathedral ceiling that is similar to mine. It really helps the SQ.

Yes, the soundstage is humongous with images beyond the side edges of the speakers!

The My Sonic Lab Platinum Signature is sublime.

Looks like a vintage Sound Anchor stand for a classic B&W Nautilus or Matrix speakers.

I bought a pair of them used about 15 years ago.
Have used as amp stands and component stands as in this case.
Thanks!

Good news!
Serguei told me that the new Stealth Audio Price List and models will be updated on their web site this week!!

Good mews? Is STEALTH reducing prices?

I hope it can be more clear than the current one, with more infos about how to use the more recent models too.
I also hope to find some new products (long announced power strip?).

Well, for 1/10 of Stealth cable, I will get my Sony OLED 77" delivered on Tuesday, then I will move the 65" to our bedroom upstairs. All of this was the result from moving P15 to the HT room, and the TV looked so good and I felt I need a better one.

For the OCD in us all, anticipate Sakra V17 hitting the used market as all step-up to the XLR SAKRA GOLD.

That’s equivalent to 13 ounces of pure gold for a 1 meter xlr cable…
No thanks…

Ha! My P10 in my audio visual system makes my 13 year old TV look so good that it quelled any desire for a new one!
