My newest update is the Blue Sky firmware for the Mk II. If your background was already “black” what is the next improvement. . . “midnight black”? . . .“jet black”? . . . I’m going to go with “Stygian black!”

My system is already blacker than black, with the latest Mk2 FM update it’s an abyss. Actually I can not tell a difference since I had too many changes within the last few days.
I will try enjoy the music instead. Wait! Sony Bravia 8 77” is arriving within the next hour, so I may not have time to enjoy any music for the rest of the day

The blackest I have ever experienced is an electrical black-out inside an isolated nuclear Rx containment while perched on an i-beam 150 feet above the refueling floor. It was so dark in there when I finally lit my flashlight the enveloping darkness sucked the light out of the lamp.

I cannot use IEMs. Never had a pair that I did not have to rip out after about 10 minutes - tops…!
They hurt my ears, no matter how soft or small the inserted pieces are.

I am super lucky they don’t bother me. I have several different kinds. I even have two pairs of the Sony WF-1000XM5 for work. They are great for conference calls when I don’t want to be chained to my desk.
I also have a pair of Tecnics EAH-AZ80 that for the price are quite good.
