Why I am not getting anymore expensive fuses.
This Synergistic Research Master fuse is toast!
Some how blew when I powered up my Taiko Extreme after switching power cords.
Replaced it with a spare Purple fuse…
That makes me glad that I purchased three Swiss Digital Fuses. Yes, more expensive when you add in an additional power cord. . . but if the thing breaks circuit. . . in ten seconds you are back in action, no expensive fuse replacement. AND to my ears in my system they sound better.
Happy SDFB cake day!
Thanks. My present is that it stopped snowing. 15" or so is enough!
Happy Cake Day!!!
Same thing happened to me.
Only fuse that has ever blown in my system is an SR Master. Liked the sound but not the burn.
49” fell on my driveway. I live 6 miles from the stadium, if anyone watched the Bills/49ers game Sunday night…
Best,

Wow!
That’s like the late 70’s/early 80’s winters have returned.
Stay warm.
I know you guys got slammed. My back aches just thinking aobut it!
Happy (Forum) Anniversary, Lon.
My latest upgrade? Blue Sky FPGA load for my DS Mk2!
I just can’t stop playing song after song…
Happy cake day @lonson!
I had the master and purple. I totally understand if you don’t get any more fuses but if you do the Audio Magic M2 is the way to go. IMO
Thanks Scott!
Thank you Paul! Now working on another year.
When replacing a fuse, you need the I²t (Ampere Squared Seconds) number.
My Spectral amplifier, for example, blew the SR fuse immediately on power-up.
While the fuse was 3.15A slow instead of the original 2.5A slow Bushmann.
This was because the inrush current was too high for this slow SR fuse.
I do have to say that I got refund from my dealer.
The Xangsane grounding boxes also arrived today. I’m thrilled with how high quality these and the cables look.
Mine are still on their way. Look forward to your impressions!
Wait, you ordered the wrong color!
I just bought a Mutec Ref 10 Nano precision 10MHz clock to see if syncing my LHY SW6 and my Rose RS130 will bring improvements some have claimed when sync’able things are sync’d together.
