After I get my new couch that lifts the listening seat up 2", then I can install speaker feet.
My new improvement was to plug my entire system into my Furutech Vault power strip.
Previously, I didnât plug the amps and TV into the power regenerator or power strip because it limited the dynamics. They were each plugged into a dedicated line. Then I plugged the amps into the Vault, overall gain with a slight loss of dynamics.
So that left only the TV plugged into a dedicated line and with galvanic isolation on the satellite socket. Since the TV doesnât have a ground, I thought connecting it to the Vault wouldnât have much effect, except on the image quality. And then one evening I decided to test it.
And there, besides a better image, the sound gained in naturalness and readability. I donât understand why but it has a very audible impact.
Since the Furutech V1 cable âmarriesâ very well with the Vault, I am intrigued by the Furutech XLR cables, I will try to test them.
Nice photo.
Are those the high performance audiophile signature Pangea wires?
LOL
Doubtful. I will watch YouTube videos and learn what to do.
I used to think vinyl was best. It just took an amazing jump straight up! F me this is a new Dimension! Clarity, that is the word. Wow!
What tools do you use to set up?
Yes, the Furutech Vault and the Project V1 power cable work together. I also have my entire system connected to the Vault power strip, including the TV.
Well done, and all dialed in as well?
How does one ever know for certain?
The tonearm came with special tools.
My plain jane PS Audio Juice Bar uses these and everything considered, think they are quite neutral.
Mmmm⌠Paniniâs.
This popped up on my feed.
Fired up my new Puritan 156 for the first time today and cold, right out of the box, it sounded like it does on a âgoodâ day. Thatâs just about as positive as I could have imagined. Of course maybe thatâs because it really was a âgoodâ power day. Proof in the pudding will be if it continues from now on. If so it will be worth every penny.
I was expecting my new Puritan 156 to play well with my DS MKll DAC and it delivered there as expected. What I wasnât expecting was how it elevated the analog side-Freya preamp and Stellar phono preamp. Vinyl sounded absolutely wonderful last night!
The local weather has been interfering with my introduction of a full loom of Audience Front Row cables. Hiking calls as the cables sit. That is saying something, as switching to Audience FR has been on my upgrade list for a year now.
Was going to ask what type of FR cables did you get and how are they sounding?
I already knew an initial impression you had regarding interconnect.
