So glad to not know what the hell you guys are talking about.

That is the reason why he recommended not using it in my system, you are right. Having other members here that are happily using it, Rob just clarified to me yesterday that it is possible and it can bring benefits even at 100. But results are better when the network is running at Gigabit, due to the wires that support a different bandwidth and not for the speed itself.

How happy I was in my vinyl days, too!

Serguei finally drove me to a EU dealer able to sell Stealth cables to Italy! Eureka! Next week I’ll probably place my first Stealth order. The new yet unreleased Ethernet cable, just to start this new journey!

Here you go Ron!

I ordered a pair of each, RCA and XLR. one RCA and one XLR = $500. My limit. Twice.

It’s an expensive but very fulfilling journey. And once you get a Stealth Cable you don’t search for better. (If you start at the top of the lineup) I am not certain my first purchase would be a Ethernet cable. I’d start with speaker cables or interconnects. Or the new double tuner USB. LOL

Price wise they ompare pretty well to, say, Master fuses…

You may be the first one to test these Line Optimizers in this forum. If you can hear SQ difference from these tweaks on your system, then they will work on any system!

If you do not hear any difference from them, I am welling to take them out of your large waste collection for 1/2 price. :joy:

It’s the top model of Ethernet line, with collar too. I’m focusing on network at the moment. The second step will be the new USB cable with 2 collars.
After that… power cords I have to admit always tempted me. One step at a time, my friend.

Noted.
When I bought my Gryphon Commander I was told it is FIFTY times quieter than the Gryphon Pandora I owned at the time. I am a believer after all is said and done.

I would be stunned if I hear a difference. Stunned. That Preamp is silent.

But the thingys look so cool!

The NCF stuff could do funny thing to sound. I hope they will ā€œimproveā€ your system instead of other way around. My experience with their NCF wall plate is that it needs a few hundred hours to sound the best. They could make the sound ā€œsterileā€ at early stage so be patient.

The Wall Plate needs breaking in? Other than costing an absurd amount of money what is it supposed to do for sound? It doesn’t even come in contact with the power cable.

The Furutech NCF plate took a long time to break in, and it does improve the overall SQ to my system. But I predict it will ruin your system so do not bother to try it. Your dedicated 20 amp with Graphon setup should not bother.

However, these cute RCA/XLR plugs could do wonder to your system, or nothing at all. I guess you will tell us.

Oh, I mean the wall plate and recepticle, not just wall plate.

My head was not as clear as earlier after an extra glass of whiskeyšŸ™„

I really mean the NCF wall receptacle, the wall plate does not need break in, I think.

Bet I spent $50 for the shunyata wall plate, it holds up the crazy big backplates of the shunyata plugs. Doubt they sound better but I like them and they satisfy the quest to solve problems no one else cares about but us crazy ones.

edit, it was $100

The wall plate can add a damping factor to the plug, but I’m sure I will not be able to tell the difference in sound if there is one in a blind test. They look nice though.

I like the new carbon Furutech connectors and have the carbon look like my friend’s Lamborghini Performante. The plugs change the Epplugs Highend, these used the old Furutech Carbon plugs. Now it’s clear to me why Epplugs no longer uses Furutech plugs. Maybe Furutech now wants to market it itself in a similar way. I’m curious about your experiences.

I have an Innuos Pulsar connected with a puritan Ultimate power cable, which replaced Shunyata Delta, and is a lot cheaper.

Innuos have an internal switch and a socket for a network server or similar. I have my music library plugged into it on a $200 network drive. I use Sense, but my Roon Core on a QNAP can see it as a network drive and play music from it elsewhere.

Steven, congrats on the Pulsar. How does the Pulsar sound overall? In what way does the Puritan Ultimate power cable improve over the sound of the Shunyata Delta?
