I know “YouTube Best Sound” sounds like an oxymoron, but if you have heard any YouTube music that has some SQ hope post it here.

I like your taste in music. Any other relatively unknown symphonies you can recommend?
We’ll I’m not sure how unknown these are, but here are a few, not restricted to Symphonies.

Dutilleux: Symphonies 1 & 2
Englund: Symphony 7
Erb: Symphony of Overtures
Firsova: Cassandra
Gerhard: Symphony 1
Gubaidulina: Pro et Contra
Jongen: Symphonie Concertante
Karabits: Concertos For Orch.
Leighton: Symphony 1
Ligeti: Lontano etc.
Lutoslawski: Chain II
MacMillan: Symphonies 2 & 3
Mennin: Symphonies 8 & 9
Norholm: Symphony 8
Panufnik: Symphonies 2 & 5
Saygun: Symphony No. 4

Tansman: Symphonies

These are from memory, so there are many more I probably left off. Gotta’ go. My battery is going fast.
Added a few.
Thanks, I ordered the Birtwistle and the Karabits to start with.
I know this wasn’t exactly what you were talking about, but this guy really knows how to show off the sound from his speakers. I’ve asked how he does it, and he won’t let his secret go, but I know he’s using a high end camera, and external recording/microphone setup of some sort. Then there is a trick to uploading it to YouTube with the least amount of damage.
Raven:
It was interesting to hear how the sound changed as he roamed around the room.
As for my intent for this topic. I had hoped some folks, using YouTube, in there search for interesting music to add to their library would run across some good sounding YouTube posts. Guess not!
Guess I’m less an audiophile and more a music lover these days. YouTube has introduced me to several new artists / composers. Some compromised sound as expected, but once in a blue moon a post hits me with rather good sound. The Kochan in the first post is one of those. Maybe my enjoyment of the composition blinded me ( OK deafened me ) to the so so SQ.
Still, I thought it good enough to record it to WAV using Audacity, and it sounds like “music in a real space” through my system.
By the way, how do I attach the actual video as you did? I’m only familiar with copying a link.
