Amp Comparison: Pass Int-250 or BHK 300 and BHK pre

That was one thing I always questioned; Richard’s decision for terminations.
My only other concern with the CT line is Richard is the only one currently capable of fabricating the carbon tweeter. Great sounding speakers!

This is a little off topic but are you running sub’s with your Treo’s? That;s my only conceern with mine. I think I could use a subwoofer but I only have room for one in my room. I can’t decide betweeon a Vandersteen Sub 3 or a REL S/812.

it’s a terrible idea
But on the serious side, I am happy with and keeping my BHK Pre and M1200 monoblocks

Check out how much Class A the 60 vs the 250 offers. Higher is much, much better.

30 watts of Class A is very useful. 20, less so.

Howdy!
Here had same challenge with out Treo CT’s & a Martin Logan Sub was a large success for us. I have to reckon room & placement will “trump” brand choice; at least I believe it did for us.
Good Luck, John

From the Positive Feedback review, the INT-250 is rated 250WPC Class A/B into 8 ohms and 15 WPC Class A into 8 ohms. IIRC the INT-60 is 60 WPC Class A/B and 30 WPC Class A into 8 ohms. A bit of a surprise actually. You may wish to confirm with a Pass dealer.

The INT-250 weighs in at a hefty 105 lbs. and has a fairly large footprint at 19" wide x 25" deep x 9.1 high". Primarily a MOSFET transistor based amplifier, power is rated at 250 wpm into 8 ohms and 500 wpm into 4 ohms. The INT-250 is a fully balanced Class A/B design and is highly biased into Class A up to 15 watts.

That’s correct.

:+1:t2:

My Parasound is class A for around 6 to 8 watts, and does not sound anywhere close to something like amps from Infigo.

Wow Vincent
That’s really nice of you
Unfortunately my Quest to scale down to an integrated has stalled a bit due to my ignorance as to what i might be able to sell my BHK 300’s and BHK pre.
Think I’m asking $11800 for them
No takers so far.
I’m naive I guess. Both only 9 months old.
Anyway I can’t get an integrated with selling these.
Keeping my current setup isn’t a bad thing in the end
