So I stole @paul172 's Loving them so far BTW. But the pre looks like downward from what I last was seeing. I wish USAM did that graphing…such a handy tool.

If you want to move them, I would consider selling at $10K.

Easy to say when it’s not my money!

I can’t imagine any actuality selling for more than $7500 a pair. I wouldn’t be sad at all to be wrong.

I believe PS Audio products in general are perceived as a mid-fi line of product… and that imho is the reason for their low resale value.

Most audio products that have been around a while hit the 50% spot until they become discontinued and then drop even more. The rare highly sought after things can hold more value. That could be due to a few factors. This is usually because they just don’t make many and they are just that good. Some its marketing and better known brands. I don’t want to say PS Audio is mass market, but its not not rare that’s for sure. Plenty for sale. When that happens price drops. Been hit by this many times. This is the way.

Just like all things in life…our own perception of reality is the driving force in our decision making. As in any consumer product…good marketing sure can be a persuasive way of separating money from our bank accounts.

The continual thinking our systems aren’t good enough, when in reality they sound incredible and don’t need to be upgraded, except for new speakers, new preamp, new amp, new music player or dac, new turntable, or new cables.

I should have been more clear. $10K for both the Pre and Amps. So $7K Amps and $3K Pre… Or something like that.

thanks for all the input.
I took your advice and cut the price to $10,000

I’m really stuck on PASS LABS.
I got some advice from the PASS LABS team who advises going with the INT-60 vs. the INT-250 for my Vandersteens. Rationale is as mentioned on this thread …its the Class A aspect of the INT-60.
Lucky for me as there is a nice cost difference in the INT250 vs. the 60.

I have to move to a smaller space. It is possible to move my current setup into the new space (just not ideal)
Does anyone feel I’d be screwing myself in the end on Sound Quality?

I’m really hoping to downsize but still maintain the level I currently have or even improve it.

I understand how imprecise that question is but still hoping to get input for the numerous experienced ears on this message board

Thank You
