I think you’d be most happy with the sound of the INT-60 over the PS Audio gear mentioned. My bias is for Pass Labs over PS Audio BHK series. If scaling down is a must the INT-60 is a low risk move as they tend to sell quickly on the used market and are well built and reliable. While I prefer new equipment, I would not hesitate on a used INT-60.
Did I mention I have an XA-25 and am most pleased with the sound.

Any concerns with using REL subs x2?
In a different system I use a pair of REL subs. The differences between our systems, rooms, etc. negates a meaningful comparison in my opinion.
