What I fear is a lack of synergy between a Mark Levinson preamplifier and MBL amplifiers… And I live in France, the transport plus the question of voltage…

Ah yes. That would be an issue. The shipping is doable (pricey) but the voltage could be a little tricky and more expensive.

To have peace with my wife, it was out of the question to use acoustic panels… so to break the sound waves I put carved Chinese or Thai wooden panels on the walls…
