AirLens does not allow for the full unfolding of MQA files like the Bridge II does.
That is a bit of a step backwards. And, you don’t need a power cord or interconnect to use the B II…just a single Ethernet cable.
Ron, care to elaborate? What mods do you have in your Mk1? What are you hearing on the Mk2 that you truly miss on your modded Mk1

The MK2 exceeds that MK1 with those mods in clarity, realism. The MK2 sounds closer to analog in my opinion.
Get the APS transformers for your MKII. you will not regret. There are many mods here that I have tried that I did not hear any improvement, these are not in that category. Big improvement.
Ah thanks, I’ve always referred to those as isolation platforms, not plates and that’s why I was confused.
I’m using Qobuz, so the unfolding of files isn’t applicable in my case.
I’m often confused too.
If I recall correctly, couple peeps here sold the MKII because of firmware,fit and finish, rough edges issues, but non was because of how the unit sounded.
How does LHY SW-6 work for you now? Are you using it with fiber optic link?
I am ready to order it to add to my SW-10. So, I will have two switches. I was told link both with F.O. and a BNC cable to synchronize the clocks will benefit more in SQ.
I highly encourage you to try it dchang. I doubt you’ll have to guess about the improvement with sw6 in front of your sw10. Since I daisy chained the sw6 to my sw8, I simply don’t want to listen to anything with either just the sw6 or sw8. It’s not a tonal difference, it’s the difference in backgraound, space/air, it is very pronounced.
current network setup is still fiber to sw6 then sw6 to sw 8 via ethernet then to my streamer.
