Art, Wine, Hi-Fi and Fraud

I’ve been reading books and watching documentary films about fraud and fraudsters over the last year.

I’m sure many of you have seen the films “Sour Grapes” and “The Lost Leonardo” both of which immensely interesting but I’m starting to think fraud, potentially widespread in art and wine, has become difficult to pull off in hi-fi.

Sure, there’s the counterfiet cable racket but do most of you agree hi-fi has become much more immune to fraud that art and wine?

Maybe I’m completely wrong.
