How much of a premium does PSA ask Chinese buyers to pay? the Japanese? Do you make them absorb tariffs which are higher going into their respective markets? I lived in Japan most of my life and know we pay a premium there for imported hifi, bought my first McIntosh amp there… was worth it though!
Note From JL Audio “Complete loudspeakers made in China are not currently subject to any additional tariffs…” but even domestic prices for aluminum etc are no longer prooperly priced, so prices are up - tariffs distort pricing, but then again so does the Fed with its interest rate control. Hopefully tariifs wont last but…
CPI is down overall for the last 2 months in a row and inflation hasn’t hit the US despite the tariffs (M. Rothbard provides the best explanation against tariffs).
How lucky are we to be concerned with the price of sonicvanna and not rent, gasoline, eggs, milk?! (So much does indeed depend on the ‘red wheel barrow glazed with rain water beside the white chickens.’)
US companies do not set tariffs.
Governments set tariffs.

That first started happening to me when I was 9 years old. My front door has a brick fire pit with bags and lighters. Bring your own poop. Don’t forget to sign the guest book! (hand cleaner just to the right of the book)
