Good morning. Many of you took a look at the new Iconoclast website. We are grateful for the many positive comments. In the last couple of days we initiated a “Forum” dedicated to cable design, BAV and Iconoclast products. I hope you will drop by for a look, recommendations or comments. This is our first try at this so there might be some bugs running around. On the home page you would click “BLOG” that then divides the selections to include "Forum."Iconoclast Cable Forum – Iconoclast Cable

I’m a native Floridian from the central part of the state. Almost 18-years ago I moved the the extreme west end of the panhandle not far from the the Gulf of Mexico to escape the population explosion. Our forecast for tomorrow is for a WINTER STORM and 3" of SNOW! :snowman: Crazy! Sue is talking Miami…

Overall a nice step up from the previous Iconoclast website. It clearly reflects the Iconoclast values; direct and to the point, clean, clear and crisp.

I checked the majority of the pages as well as each cable line up to submitting an order, all good.

The header on this page is a little confusing/cluttered, especially the top left portion “Iconoclast Cable The Wire We Here Blog and Forum” as I expected it to be a radio button/hot link to a Blog/Forum page:

I should be in Sarasota now, but family matters keep me near Chicago.

That doesn’t sound good Rick. I hope everything is ok. It’s is chilly in Sarasota by our standards but no snow and ice.

Thank you all for the support to make the web site necessary and purposeful to a great product. We have presentatins to audio clubs more to allow questions than expect a passive audience to a one-way conversation. Not everyone listens or hears explainations the same way and a paper is simply not going to get it done every time. A ZOOM session can allow stop and explain as we go to bring everyone along. Many will have already toured the papers and have questions bottled up, the ZOOM sessions unbottle them. Most all questions I have illustration to help out with the answers visually. Best, this benefits all out cable designers out there. No one cheats the physics. It is nice to know what exactly is being done and why.

The new FORUM is an open ended place for ant subject or questions. The subject may not even be for ICONOCLAST but between yourselves to a topic related degree. They can be question or positive and negative experiences. Transparency is a value to us.

The BLOG on the other hand is just a place to post questions on the topics in the associated paper, not the same thing, a more paper oriented comment section. Not many allow comment on white papers. We think why not?

Again, thanks everyone for the support for a product made with pure science to optimize audio based on what we do know and understand as the foundation under the peformance. We at ICONOCLAST firmly belive that the science is the sound and the more you use the better it gets. Sound Designs Create Sound Performance.

A beautiful view and why I live here!

All great stuff, Galen, but be prepared. The ‘hide behind their keyboards’ audio warriors are bound to show up.

If I was a design theologist in this hobby I’d be worried. I’m not, and fact based values are always welcome. The rest? That’s welcome in the universe of question some stuff will reside in and for the moment. ICONOCLAST doesn’t really go there but the customer base can move at will.
