Hi to everybody, I’m new to this forum.

Sorry for the questions, but was not able to find answer anywhere.
I do not know also whether this post is the right place, (forgive me in advance) anyway …

  1. Is the DirectStream DAC capable to play FLAC files from SD card slot, or it is used for software upgrade only?
  2. Why the bridge 2 expansion has an additional USB port?

No problem and welcome to the forums.

The SD card slot is only for upgrades and you cannot play media from it. The Bridge II USB port serves the same function as the SD card slot, to upgrade its firmware.
