I am using the PS audio AC-12 cable. We’ll see what burn in will do.
The burn in period took about 300 hours. I’m using fidelizer pro extremist on the AV-streamer. With fidelizer the sound is slightly better. Internal solid statedrives for music libraries will make a difference compared to network streams. You could also use normal harddrives when you like movies, but they are not great with music. The Pink Faun IL2 I2S cable made the biggest improvement the second biggest improvement were the voltage settings in the bios. Fidelizer was the smallest, but still a welcome improvement.
Wijnand, based on my experience comparing the three servers I have provisionally concluded the differences between high quality servers are not that great, and probably won’t be spending much time squeezing a few more percents of performance out of my streamer. I will fiddle with cables and bios settings a bit, call it a day, kick back and enjoy the music. I am hopeful the BHK 300 monos will be a far more material change (upgrade I hope) than fiddling with my digital source. I also have some work to do porting my two content libraries to a single server, and getting latest version of Dirac up and running. I may also give Jplay a whirl.
Finally got around to extensive listening session in multi channel mode. While I the jury us still out on Pink Faun I2S verus CAPS 3.0 USB on 2 channel, on MCH (high rez), the Pink Faun I2S handily beats the AES/EBU Lynx card. There is significantly more bass. In fact, I am finally getting that “physical’ sensation from bass hanging in the room, that my speakers (4 x 15” woofers -3dB at 10Hz) should be capable of producing.
Happy to hear! It will get even better soon! Congrats!
A link to a review in English for the AV-Streamer. The Direct Stream is also used for the review. I believe on the 4th page!

Hi!
I own a PWD MK I, and have tried to build the same source as Linvincible has done, with a Paspberry PI 2 and the Audio GD I2s over HDMI interface. Unfortunately no success.
Please let me know, if there is any difference between the PWD MKI’s and a DirectStreams I2s interface. I didn’t find any reference.
Thanks in advance!
Ps: Sorry for my poor english.
They are the same.
Hi petriko. Two things from me:
First, welcome to the PS Audio forum. We look forward to your further participation in this forum.
Second, no apologies needed for your english, it is better than many whose first (and often only) language is english who post in various forums that I visit.
J.P.
Welcome, Petriko!
Hi Guys,
I was looking to some comments here about connect Raspberry PI 2 + Audio GD HDMI output and I decided to try, but after connect everything I got music but with too much noise, in fact more noise than music , I did a big mistake and plug HDMI output power to 5v instead 3.3v , I don’t know if I blow this module, any ideas ?
Regards,
Alexandre.
This post is just to say that I ordered a Sonore uRendu yesterday for use with my DS (primarily for using it as a Roon endpoint).
Me too, also just got a sonicTransporter, can free up my laptop for non audio.
Edorr. Did you try dsd in your trials. As all good sources and or servers do sound good , they sound sound different . Some make the music more relaxed closer to real Music and shows dsd in its real sound . I agree the ds does nice PCM always did. Where I always feel it falls short is its dsd . However using a server makes it better . Also did you try a regen as even worth any server I own like you I have a few it too improves things a bit. On par with going from the main board USB compared to an audio card USB .
I lokk forward to your comments
So far I have had a chance to compare several commercial products to my PC based server via Bridge II and the only one yet that sounded significantly different so far was the Aurender N10. (linky: http://www.psaudio.com/forum/general-discussions-and-miscellaneous-ramblings/servers/ ) However, for the huge price difference, I did not feel like it would be worth it at this time. A friend has just ordered a Small Green Computer Audiophile VortexBox (as well as a Sonicorbiter SE for Roon) that I will give a go on my system. I am unclear whether it has ethernet capability, though.
Using a few servers and reg pc desktop
I must say bridge 2 is a great product in features , stability and of course sound. As it does get better from a server it’s pretty good out of the box on a reg pc. USB is far more complex in making good sound and is not really better from server and b2
Cheers to Paul and team for the bridge 2. A fine product.
I will have roon soon setup and a multi boot server to try. So many people praise it’s sound combined with non jriver control point. The only draw back I can see is the praises all
love up sampling Pcm to dsd. And I have not liked any as far except for what the ds dac does.

My Sonore Signature Series Rendu is 95% ready and should ship sometime next week. ( assembled in Boulder CO!? )
I will be trying out the I2S input on the DS via a PS Audio HDMI AC12 cable.
Watch this video , somehow what i have been squawking about for some two years now is being used by mr baskam , and mr N. Hey Ted are yOu saying you still do not use a caps ?? Or you Paul lol. It’s pretty funny to watch although not all he says in this one video I agree with . But the video set is a very good one to watch and makes me feel even better about demoing the BHK mono,s.
Also edorr why did you not finish your demo review ?
Hi Albert 1234
I sent you a PM and can probably
answer some of your questions.
