I would have never noticed.
In their early days, Primare used to make speakers. I had a pair with the same serial number. Even the drivers shared the same serial numbers. They said everything was tested and matched. LOL, my ears are not even a matched pair.
Iâll admit Iâm a touch âanalâ. Most everything is at least somewhat lined up.
When I bought my three chassis preamp, I could have had a discount if I would have accepted the one without sequential numbers. I went happily for sequential. I was told by the dealer that my preference was in the clear majority.
I wouldnât accept delivery of two mono blocks if the serial numbers werenât sequential⊠Not singling out PSA, that would apply to any high-end audio manufacturer. My money my choice.
I wanted to close the loop on this topic and say that PS Audio has completely stepped up to the plate and is working with me to resolve this issue. The professionalism, ownership of the issue, and a demonstrated commitment to making this right is a breath of fresh air, and has shown me I havenât made a mistake. That, coupled with the fact that the amps hit the magic 100 hours of break in this week and are sounding even more amazing shows I made the right choice. Hats off on all counts!
BHK300âs are closing in on 2,000 hours; I suspect youâll only be getting happier.
i totaly agree with everything you said, the older i get the importance of the relationship is more inportant that anything else. it is a breath of fresh air.i am staying right here becouse ps audio keeps me here.
Iâve had three instances where I needed the involvement of PS Audioâs team. All for different reasons.
In every case the team, be it James, TJ or Paul have gone overboard to make things correct and more importantly ârightâ. Thatâs one of the reasons that I still have a full stack of PSA gear. The only gear that I kept longer was Jeff Rowland and Krell gear from the 90âs. Rowland and Krell are Good company
I agree 100%: PS Audio service is outstanding, and their importer in the Benelux, Guy, is great.
+1 for Guy
