Paul sent out the monthly newsletter today and the lead story was on the Montreal show. I tapped on the picture together a better view of it and it took me to a SoundStage Global report on the show. I was surprised to read the BHK Signature will sell for $10500 CA! 
I know the Canadian dollar is down, but not that much. Is the US retail price going to rise from the last estimate of $7500?

Well it’s clear to me there must be something special going on with this amp, and certainly we know the DS plays a huge part. The Speaker was a 2006 design of modest price. Art Dudley’s quote says it all “I confessed to my notebook that it was the best playback quality I had heard in the show so far.”

I think that figure of CAN$10,500 was just a guess and hopefully it won't be that expensive.

I find the lack of comments on the new amp curious…I thought some had been released into the wild.

None have been released, unescorted, into the wild.
But yesterday I saw a raft of them, their eyes burning bright as they lay in wait. Their keepers were preening and grooming their new fur, others were preparing their cages for travel. It was busy in the lair that day.
Does that mean I’ll need a whip and chair to keep my BHK (or its two Gold Lions) from eating me alive (when I finally get one)?

Underwood Wally had the amp at Axpona using it on the mids in a tri amp configuration on his Emerald Physics open baffle speakers. Vocals sounded very good to my ears.

No, sigh. I am waiting. The decision was made to build all stereo models first so stereo beta testers will be getting theirs first and that includes me. A day or two after we should build monos. Can’t wait!
We should start bugging Bascom. He’s been shipped the first production piece and should be receiving it perhaps today. How does his baby sound now that it is fully produced? Inquiring minds want to know!
