I am thinking of upgrading my preamp and was wondering which of these two you would you choose?
My current pre is Gain Cell DAC. My amp is BHK250

In your location look into Supratek. Easily bested BHK preamp in my setups.

Something that might be worth thinking about - the BHK has a headphone amp and output jack, and the Stellar Gold does not. I didn’t look at the SGP closely enough to discover that, but I liked the unit enough that I kept it and bought a Schiit Asgard 3 headphone amp.
There are many other things that are likely more important than that, but if you need (or want) to used headphones regularly, it’s worth noting.
BHK Pre was sold out at PSA, and they are working on a replacement for it. Stellar Gold Pre is pretty new. So, you either go with Stellar Gold, or wait for their new pre. I would not get a BHK pre now (sold mine actually).

Also take a look at the Holo Serene KTE. A great SS preamp if your inclined in that direction.
