Blues didn't know I liked

I’ve had this CD for years, listened to it a couple of times at most, weird. Played it today on my new system: PHENOMENAL! The richness and detail are simply amazing.

Isn’t Corky a founder of Chicago’s near-legendary Siegel-Schwall Blues Band?

Correct, I have multiple LPs OF the Siegel-Schwall Band.

“Spinning” (actually streaming) some Corky right now and love it. Worthy of physical media so bought the CD. Thanks for the tip.

Just “tossed” this on (Roon/Qobuz on the desktop system). Listening while I get my morning web surfing in.

Pretty fun…thanks for the tip, guys.

PS: I have found well-recorded harmonica to be a great indicator of when all is right with the Big Rig.

This was my introduction to Corky Siegel:

Perhaps not even the genre of music that’d come to mind when thinking about Corky. But then for those who are aware of his early efforts to bring the harmonica out of the club to the concert hall as an instrument to be taken seriously, this album wasn’t a surprise. This is a tough to find vinyl record, a copy of which I had years ago and for the life of me I can’t remember what I did with it. A real showcase for his artistry.
