Personally I don’t think anything is broken in this case: if the Roon folk were done a month earlier or a month later nothing would need to have changed so the particulars of these schedule misalignments didn’t matter… I don’t know how one would characterize the development at PS Audio (and most small software enterprises) as anything but agile - there’s rarely enough formality to think of schedules as anything more than good guesses. Schedules are a tool, not the master.

Some DS Senior owners expressed frustration with having to wait for Junior beta testing of Torreys to finish before the B2 update would be released. Paul said that he would see if it was possible to get it out earlier for Senior owners. That seems like a pretty clear indication it’s not out yet (as of the day before yesterday).
It’s not yet out. I had hoped to get an earlier release but Dennis informs me there’s one last bug to the Bridge II code that needs addressing before we launch for either platform.
Anyone outside of the organizations doing the work has no idea what could be happening when, let alone what should be happening when.[Edit: Another clarification: I’m not directly involved in that part of PS Audio’s engineering, so I really don’t know what’s blocking what and why, hence my incredulity that others think they do.]

@eldrick or the other expressing strong opinions about the release can and will no doubt correct me, but I understood this confusion came about because of a post from Paul that said BII + Roon was “ready” or words indicating that it was finished. I have not gone back and verified this is the case. Someone else who cares more than I may do so.
