Can DSD be used as pre with both AMP and Subwoofer at same time?

I have a friend who wants to do a quick demo of my MK1. Can he hook it up using XLR to Amp and then RCA to a sub? do the mixing level manual? Manual says do not use both, but I think that was referring to same amp. it also says do not plug into phone or equalized what does equalized mean?

You won’t hurt the DS no matter how you hook the analog up. Using both outputs at the same time will unbalance the balanced output, but whether or how much this matters depends on your system. You might get a little hum. But probably everything will sound fine.
