Can't turn off Phase Out on PMG 512 DAC

Hi

Had to shut the system down to install the new amplifier. Since then the Phase Out in the PMG DAC 512 is on and I can’t turn it off. It appears to turn off, but coming back to the home menu it has switched itself back on again

Was wondering if there was a condition that could force it on I am unaware - such as say having the XLR cables to the preamp around the wrong way (L→ R & R → L), or a slight loose connection of something like the USB socket?

Its a little frustrating as I don’t want this on, but can’t seem to switch it off

Any thoughts and advice appreciated

My immediate thought is to turn off the DAC and unplug it. Let it sit for a couple of hours and power up again.

Hi Elk

Thanks for the reply - found that while I couldn’t turn it off via the display on the DAC - via the remote it toggled on and off happily - weird but fixed

Very good. These niggling issues can be frustrating.

IMHO this is broken functionality. Will this be reported as such, added to the list of issues to fix?

I suggest you send a constructive, polite email to Paul dirctly paul@psaudio.com reporting this issue.

He wants to know of these concerns so they can be addressed.
