That sounds about right.
Slippery slope, the beaver puns.
For the sake of decency, applying the brakes…
Not that the beaver puns are below me.
And to @Elk
Soundwise, it was horrible. But it was a fun diversion.
You know, like watching a train wreck happen in real time.
Seriously, seems like they do have talent.
As the vote showed, the drummer was the most appreciated.
But I think the others would have scored higher if we could better hear their instruments.
I appreciate there are those who find it fun.
For me it was a tiresome visit to middle school, no more clever.
Of course, YMMV
Lots face it, whether from the USA, the UK, Japan or wherever, punk music was usually about a middle school mindset. I will say OB seemed to have better musical chops than the Ramones or some other genre precursors. I never could really get into that mindset myself. I remember when The Clash hit the scene and music critics were blubbering about them being the next great thing. I bought London Calling the day it hit the stores and I think I’ve put it one the turntable about once every ten years to see if my opinion changes. Nope.
Ha! I’d say then they have succeeded.
Get your mind out of the gutter! ( ) I was simply referencing this scene from the PG-13 film, “The Naked Gun” (1988):
Good one!
Crude and smarmy, and one of my favorites.
“Thank you, I just had it stuffed.”
