There was one girl off camera … :grinning:

Not sure “unhinged” quite describes it.

I borrowed “unhinged” from the NPR description, but I left out “delight.” How about an “unhinged delight”?

Never listened much punk rock before, but that was so much fun! I watched the entire show. I’ll sent it to my daughters

Glad you enjoyed it, thanks for posting!

I was knocked out by their exuberance, their raw power … and their punctuality!

I made it about 1 minute in. However my Gdaugter is going to study in Japan next year for a semester. I sent it to her.

This is not going to be everyone’s cup of tea. Perhaps consider giving it another try with the sound muted – I find that it is still entertaining!

I love Otoboke Beaver. Their last album was only 21 minutes long but had 18 songs.

Haha, the track lengths make the Ramones seem like Rush!

Yes, they were having lots of fun; and that is a most important ingredient that I value in band.

I have a friend who is Lizz Wright’s bass player. They did a Tiny Desk performance and he described the room as a tiny area of a cafeteria. The audience are workers eating their lunches.

Now I have a strong desire to spin Husker Du.

“Otoboke” = feigned ignorance. Otoboke + the multiple meanings of “beaver” equals gives us a quite literate name for post-punk band! Their YouTube videos are very entertaining as well.

All-female Japanese punk bands scare the bejesus out of me…
Made it through to the end.
Seeing the beaver comforted me. What?!? I’m Canadian. :canada: :beaver:
It was fun.
5.6.7.8’s anyone?
:sunglasses:

That’s the point, or at least my understanding.

Love the 5.6.7.8’s too!

Nice beaver!

I did not.

To each his own.

15 seconds was enough.
