What I’ve learned with the 901’s is not to buy anything made after 1975 (Series 3 thru 6). As with any pair of 1970’s/1980’s Speakers foam rot can’t be avoided. While I can rebuild a Series 1 or 2 Equalizer (better solution is miniDSP), I don’t have the patients to refoam 18 Drivers. 1968 to 1974 Series 1 & 2 are doped cloth Surrounds and will never rot.
