I think I’m up to date as far as updates go. I did discover a network problem. I have an Ethernet distribution box with Cat 6a cables behind my component cabinet. It was plugged into a power strip that was turned off. I noticed that the ip box on DS said “not connected”. I switched the Ethernet cord to an active power source. It all works and sounds glorious. No drop outs and metadata is back. I purchased Roon but I’m afraid to use it if it will not fully unfold MQA as Jeff mentioned. I should do a comparison of the same song using Roon and then switching to Mconnect.
Mconnect Control/Tidal worked perfectly for over a week using my ipad. For the past two days, BridgeII does not show in Tidal on the ipad. I’ve restarted and reinstalled everything. I have Redcloud 3.4.5. I even entered a static IP address using the “How To” section of PS Audio. Still no show.
