I can’t believe this. Check my email this AM and received an email from Scott McGowan. I thought he might be replying to my email I sent. No it was a sales pitch to sell the P12.
I wonder why I didn’t get an email from Scott. I normally get the offers.
@jamesh already contacted you directly. Is there anything else you need?
Th card charges may or may not be happening. I received a text notification of charge from my credit card for the Beta. It was then delayed shipping over a month to fix the volume issues.
However when shipped 6 weeks later the credit card finally posted payment. So I am thinking PS audio only does like a Hotel putting a hold when you check in but not post until you checkout.
That is my observation.
Just a simple reply to emails would be great. Is that asking too much?
Thank goodness you have employees like James H.
No. They charged my card and are expecting payment.
I don’t know if it’s relevant but periodically most or all email from anyone at PS Audio gets intercepted by my ISP’s spam filter. The ISP no longer let’s me just turn off their spam filter so this is really annoying.
Be careful what you wish for. I did not get the email either, however, I get so much email I cannot keep up with it all!
Thanks Ted. I already checked this.
I’m not sure what’s happening here. Is the forum the best place to get the attention about missing an email? Is there another support area for this or is PS Audio staff expected to keep up with all the forum posts?
I’m also confused as to why people are unaware of the lead time for this product. AFAIK, most audio manufacturers aren’t ready to fulfill all demand right out of the gate when a product is launched so it’s expected that there will be a lead time. Even products that have been around for years have a lead time. I would expect most people to show the same grace they would show any other audio manufacturer that requires a product to be built to order. Very few companies just have stock piles of inventory at the current state of the world.
That is not the problem. I know first hand about lead time.
Don’t know exactly what happened…
I ordered on 1/15, and was charged on 1/16 and I called today. @jamesh said it’ll ship best case in two weeks, but if the board supplier sticks to their new schedule, at least theee weeks.
Don’t get your hopes up I guess
Thanks, I appreciate it Mr. Richards. My email seems to be working well but a few of my colleague’s emails are being blocked by some Gmails. No rhyme or reason behind it. Two folks last week weren’t able to receive an email with a pdf attachment. I then sent the same email with the attachment no prob. They call me the PS Email Whiz.
Good to hear you have been taken care of and need nothing else at this time.
PSA strives to be responsive but things can fall between the tracks. The best approach is to call.
One can also contact @jamesh directly if need be.
Posting a complaint in the forum is inefficient at best. To my knowledge no one at PSA is routinely scouring the forum looking for complaints. If you do not hear from PSA I suggest following up directly.
Thanks James. I didn’t use my gmail account so must be something else.
I’m over all this mess. I’ll just pickup the phone and call the “Old School” way. ![]()
Back to on-topic discussions.
Thank you James, a/k/a Email Whiz!
I’m good no matter what. I love the sound I have in the two systems the Mk2 will impact, and I’ve learned patience during COVID times and whenever I have ordered from Decware.
It may have been different for Beta purchases. My card was charged . . . long before shipping it seems. I’m okay with that!
Well I thought that had happened because I got a text from card for amount. It however did not post as full charge until the day email received that FedEx had it. So I went and reviewed for double charge. So first was a charge hold claiming there part of card credit limit.
When there is long projection of waits it should be an initial partial payment perhaps as like a car order. I can see folks being disappointed full payment and no product promise. You know if it is supply chain. Most places don’t charge until product ships if ordering parts or a progress payment schedule. The policy should be clearly explained if your using a customer as your business creditor. If the entity fails. Then the customer is last person to get a chunk of what is left unless you fall back to your credit card company but those have time limits.
When I had this issue with GIK acoustics they offered me a further discount for ignoring my emails and being six months late on their promise or full refund.
