I started this thread by accident when I tried to post in the old “first impressions” thread. I started running thru the tranny because I was getting some excessive sibilants on my favourite female vocals, but I could still hear bad sound, sort of like a slightly out of tune radio. Anyway, it took a while for the penny to drop but I have tracked the problem to my use of the new JRMC 20 in the Beta form. I went back to 19.0.146 & all appears to be good. Why is it always the last/second last thing I look to? I wont be using beta version in the future, only stable.

Interesting, and a bit disturbing, the beta version of JRMC is the culprit.

Im sure they think I am a crazy audio-nut but this is what I have found. Not just the spitty sound but music sound more “there” when I revert to 19.0.146
