This the second day with my new Galileo Discovery Ethernet cable and today my digital system sounded with such low distortion, you know, with the kind that when you turn up the volume, you start to cringe and reach for the volume control. I really felt the difference with this SR ethernet cable. Before, only with my vinyl sytstem, it just becomes more viscreral and not offensive. Now I have the WW Platinum 8 between my router and SR UEF Internet Switch, and that probably helps also, and a Inakustik Exaellanz cable between NAS and internet switch. Now for the first time, (with excellent recordings,) I actually am more blown away with the digital recordings than the vinyl counterparts. The clarity is more there with the lower noise floor. And the tighter and faster bass, probably because of the lower resonance and overhang with digital. My new digital system now is just simply amazing! But I am still trying to get even better digital sound even though I am quite happy already. Because of this forum, (I like to blame it on this forum) I heard how good the Network Acoustic Tempus is, so I put in an offer for it, and maybe I’ll see how much better it is than my SR Ethernet switch when I get one.
This is the kind of posts that usually got me in trouble 
when I get bored I may consult with you on SR cables, but I hope it will not happen for a long time.

Before I got the Muon Pro network filter, I really didn’t hear much if any differences from ethernet cables. Now with the filter, I decided to see if ethernet cables actually matters because it came with a supposedly better cable in the package. I can actually hear a slightly duller sound from lower quality ethernet cables because my digital system now have a lot highter resolution than before. The place I hear the most difference is changing the cable from the filter to the streamer. I think it’s probably because the cable can degrade the filtered signal coming from the filter. And the SR cable just degrades that signal the least and probably does some filtering itself than the other cables. That’s just my thought.

$3395 In its basic form. For an additional $1795 you can upgrade it with the new “Robin, The Imaginary Friend”. Most people start the 12 Upgrade Option Sequence with Robin.
I can get frequent sucker discounts too, not bad. It will be fun to try one against my Omega here. Wait, I’m done. Never mind.
I can no longer post any updates in the next upgrade thread, as upgrades are a part of my past. Not that parts of my system couldn’t be upgraded with even better components, cause they most certainly could be upgraded, but I just had to stop.
Thanks to you and this forum. I would never of spent the kind of money I did if not for the guidance offered on this board and how well the FR20s respond to better and better gear.
An ironic thing is I don’t have a single local dealer that would recommend Gryphon and PSAudio much less be able to demo the gear (forget about Stealth Cables). A year and a half ago when I bought an MU2 I called a couple local dealers and they did not have it. Since then at least one local dealer picked up the Grimm line but to late for me, I had already bought it sight unheard.
I just got the FR30 and I like how they sound. I have a lot of equipment that I am using for the trade-up program and I think that this is a great feature because I am fighting for space and this is a big relief. I have had the loudspeaker guide for a while now and I am doing my best to get the most out of my purchase. I made several changes to my setup and I like the difference of what I hear.
Congrats on your truly wonderful speakers! And welcome to the forum. The FR30’s respond nicely to every possible upgrade, from positioning, to toe-in or lack of toe-in, from adjusting the height of the feet so the tweeters are aimed at ear level, and component upgrades, from dac to preamp to power amp, to interconnect, power cables and power products.

Exciting! You are doing the wise thing by following the setup guide and making incremental adjustments along the way. I have the FR10s and when I got them dialed in over several months it paid off. @adifferentpaul is spot on in his description of how the speakers respond to adjustments and equipment upgrades etc. Keep us posted on your progress!
Congrats! FR30 is incredible, and I am done with speaker upgrade until PSA comes up the big FR50 with bird-eye maple finishing. But maybe I am still done since I am not allowed anything bigger anyway.
Just so you know. Jumpers and footers will improve FR30 more as you can read from previous comments and FR30 setup thread here. But maybe you shouldn’t.
