I would limit the offer to a musician who has not already record an album.
What say Paul? Russ has the talent, and the audience to support sales, while still on the economic fringe. Russ is just an example. He most certainly has the trumpet chops. Currently many fringe artists are self produced as Paul mentioned.

I alerted my friend multi-instrumentalist Willie Oteri about this, he is in Nice, France now which may make a difference in his willingness but we’ll see. He’s worthy of the recording attention.

I’ve been in communication with a musician, but with his current schedule and the distance to Boulder unfortunately it isn’t likely. He’s interested, but….
I let one of my favorite musician/friends know and I believe he investigated. He’s an excellent player and producer. . . but he now lives in Nice. . . so not sure what can be worked out, haven’t yet followed up.
