Indeed that is so.

At least Rauol had the common courtesy to stay off the GIK panels.

What on earth got to this guy?

Looks shocked…by something…

Best wishes

He probably got wind of what’s happening in Shanghai China.

That is sad…they need PITA after them!!

Best wishes

Funny, I just finished watching Watership Down tonight. I wonder if this thread subconsciously made me pick it. A great book and an excellent movie.

Audio room is currently in the process of major renovations so apologies for not getting a shot with my gear in it, but he does have a musical name. Got to pick his pedigree moniker so this is Black Sabbath my Maine Coon. Unofficially he’s just Sabs. Finally managed to get a decent photo of him so couldn’t resist posting. Hoping he lives up to the breed and gets real big, then I can use him as a bass trap.

He’s a youngster, all feet and ears. Our Maine Coon, Kafka, weighs in at 23 pounds. Just came in after chasing two deer off in the back yard. He is listening intently to some Bill Evans Morning Glory, on vinyl.

Ooooh, a big boy. We don’t have deer for Sabs to chase but I’ve gotta say he’s keen. He’s averaging about 5 mice a week which thankfully he mostly eats. I often stumble across a discarded skeleton and tail. We have a school behind the house and the kids call him “the lion cat”. He’s quite a fan of subwoofers but in typical cat fashion he mostly manages to perch on the most expensive bits of gear. The cable jungle behind the racks is also endlessly entertaining. He’s pretty unfussy in his musical leanings, but does dig the turntable, having already broken a cartridge. Probably thought I needed an upgrade.

We are in a rather sandy area, Wisconsin Central Sands. Our Maine Coon cracks me up when he goes for voles, as sand flies through the air from his back side. Typically a huge cloud of dust behind him. Unfortunately he brings his prizes home to share. At the moment he is listening the DSOTM and I get the impression he prefers jazz as his ears are back and his lip turned up.

My stepfather was once a Wisconsin native. He originated from Wauwatosa in the middle of cheese country. Then my mum snagged him and dragged him back to England. I gained some great cousins that still mail me Packers jerseys.
Would love to see a photo of your boy, coonies are such beautiful animals. Before I got Sabs a woman at work showed me a shot of hers and I instantly knew that I needed one. They’re not a common breed over here so he took some finding, especially as I wanted a grey tabby. Worth the hunt though, he never fails to melt my heart.
What’s the cat equivalent of a Gin & Tonic? Whatever it is I hope Kafka is enjoying one to go with his jazz. The kind gifts thing can be a bit difficult, it’s hard to look honoured and hide your disgust at the same time. Greebo, a moggy I once had broke the cat flap by dragging a pigeon through it. Still, you gotta love em.

Kafka, yeah he’s a good boy. While we don’t encourage the gifts we also do not scold him should he show up with one or two. At the moment he is digging some Tom Waits Night Hawks at the Diner, suites his personality. As Tom sings the cat purrs along with him.

A proper cutie, they have such magnificent whiskers don’t they? The M on the forehead is a bit of a trademark too. Currently I only have headphone listening available as amps and speakers have been evacuated so holes for electrical sockets and rewiring can be knocked into the walls. I’m spinning Helmet’s Diet Aftertaste, staccato metal with a shouty vocal. Their drummer’s a busy man. Not a problem for Sabs, my HE6s are particularly leaky and with ears the size of his I’m sure he’s getting all the detail. He also gets a go at trying to un-braid the cable. Thanks for sharing the pic, any chance to admire pussycats and I’m there.
