My GCA 250 amp is just out of warranty and the blue bar on the amp started flashing with no output. Any ideas on what it might be? Thanks.

I think that is its way of letting you know it went into protection. If you power it down, unplug for a few minutes, does it come back on as expected?

Thanks. Yes. But why does it all of a sudden go into protection mode?

Could have been a number of things. A fault within the amp, a short downstream, or simply the speakers pulling too much current from the amp.
