I had pretty much stopped following or watching golf. Hardly any personality, like the country club golf course I decided not to join. Maybe it will become more like pro wrestling with heels/villains and good guys. A ratings bonanza!

A golf buddy brought up Mohammed Ali yesterday in relation to the recent events with the PGA. Ali said “I have nothing to lose by standing up for my beliefs.” Jay Monahan, Mr. Spine of Jello himself, might say “I have nothing to gain by standing up for my beliefs”. Tell ya what, the world is failing hard and fast with all these money grabbing dipsticks leading the pack.
In other golf news, I almost had my third and fourth lifetime eagles this week, but settled for tap in birdies. Also, was able to make two birdies in a row (one a 45 foot putt), which is pretty rare for this guy. Big tourney coming up next week in the Denver Men’s Amateur.

Yeah, I remember that when I was still good. It’s a good thing that my best days were long gone. The game is a lot more enjoyable nowadays.

Had a huge day to finish third in my big tourney. It was literally as good as I could do. Beat a lower handicap by one stroke, and 1st and 2nd were miles ahead.

Finished my Indoor Range and grip station. Using a Bushnell Launch Pro. The range is 18ft X 12ft X 10ft. The netting completely surrounds the space out to the Rain or Shine 5ft X 5ft driving range mat. So, I can really launch shots. The flat screen is eye level facing the golfer to analyze club path, club face, and ball flight.

I’m struggling through golfer’s elbow, and have been slacking on my PT.
Very cool set-up! What sim software are you using? I have the original SkyTrak launch monitor and use GSPro for simulation (even though it isn’t officially sanctioned by SkyTrak). The subscriptions for using real golf courses on a launch monitor seem really high-priced for the home user.
I measure my clubs and like a swing weight of D0 because my swing speed is slower. Some like D2-D4 swing weight with faster swing speed. Below is a swing weight balance scale to measure swing weight.
The reason this is important is when you change grips that are more or less weight you affect swing weight. Every 5 grams is a swing weight change.
This station is very easy to change grips and the tray disconnects from bench.
I use Golf Pride CP2 Pro midsize and just bought Winn Dri tac oversize grips. In the spring I will change grips; however, I will need to add 8G weight on shaft end, then add grip to keep the swing weight the same.
