Thank-you for sharing. When hearing Rune discussing its virtues and design the first thing that came to mind were Shakti Stones. I note a patent in no way is an endorsement of a product’s efficacy.
The bottom line.
I am also very happy with what the Shunyata Everest did when added to my system. I considered a P20 but it just weighed too much for me. I am satisfied enough with the Everest to not attempt replacing it with something else. I am sure there is something better out there for more money, but I am happy enough to live with the wonderful experience my system produces as it is today.
When you hear the PZ some day in your system you won’t want to live without it and you may even say $13k or $14k is an absolute steal when you hear the results. Sounds ridiculous I know. I know that it is considered “a power conditioner” but it’s much much more, I would call it a complete system enhancer and that is an understatement. It is intoxicating and addictive!! My system since I removed it? Solid performer enjoyable but it’s not wanting me to feel the absolute need to listen for more. The PZ makes me want to hear everything again for the first time! Yes I’m addicted and I need help. Audiophile rehab for me!
Love is a many splendid thing. With all deference to the Beatles, money can (sometimes) buy you love.
Well said!
Yesterday I did some research about the Powerzone. Unfortunately no pictures of the interior were found. The Guro who helped there also sells his own products.
It seems to work similarly to my Epluggs, Akiko audio stuff. Or Lessloss. Synergistic research also has a lot. I’ve come across these parts bybee. The parts can be integrated into the power supply, components or speakers in the circuit. Or my homemade suppression plugs with silver conductors and tourmaline powder. Kemp Elektronik in the Netherlands also has products that go in this direction.
Entire control cabinets that are inserted into the installation of the house.
A part that is ground into the power supply line to influence the electrons and even the water molecules in the environment. What Luca.
Today I ordered a Dragon source. Maybe your metallogy will help make an MU2 out of my edge nq.
Greetings Andreas
Wow–that’s a whole bank of Everests!

You are the target market.
Well no powerzone in the system and it’s pretty obvious! The P20 does so much for my system, the improvement was noticeable especially with streaming and the BHK 300’s when I was using them. The difference the Gryphon PowerZone makes is even more obvious improvement over the P20. I’m listening to the tracks I listened to before I disconnected the PZ and I’m now back on P20 power and the result is less liveliness, less air and separation around the instruments. The sonic presentation is less realistic. I know soon the first group of powerzone buyers will report similar findings because most members here must think I’m nuts and talking like a true Gryphonista! Truth be told if the PZ was made by any one else I’d be singing its praises still! The fortunate forum members soon will be joining me in disbelief once the 3.10’s arrive!
I just recently learned I made a huge mistake! I was thinking the major improvement came from my new Powerzone. Turns out I forgot I put I pink fuse in the power supply for my modem. That was what made the difference! Sorry!
@paul172 did the same with fuses at his place, and same with @straightwire. And they (and I too) thought it was the PowerZone. Oh well.
Paul has a much nicer modem. Greg too.
Late to this part of the thread but still one of my favorites:
“Money can’t buy you happiness, but it can buy you a yacht big enough to pull up right alongside it.” David Lee Roth .
I forgot to mention, but the MU2 has an upgraded fuse. I switched fuses between the MU2 and Panasonic, and with the Panasonic now having the upgraded MU2 fuse, it now sounds much better than the MU2.
I just put this little cylinder into Puritan and suddenly it sounds like a PowerZone, and it’s cheaper than a Pink.
I want to try it on PZ soon.
I have found further improvement maybe had by orienting the modem along a north/south axis, Feng Shui.
Florescent light ballast?
