Happy 420 and/or your strain of choice

And here we have Idaho: we just took the audacious step of legalizing the growing, transportation and possession of . . . industrial hemp!

Light up folks . . .

I believe we are the only state to not recognize medical marijuana.

minnesota resident here. not legal yet, but that doesn’t really stop anyone.

I partook my fair share back in the day, but I’ve come to the conclusion that it no longer agrees with me. Maybe there’s a strain out there that offers pure relaxation, without the mind games.

I find that I experience self-doubt, self-criticism, cynicism and suspicion when I have it. I hate it.

So, I’d love for it to be legal here, and for there to be dispensaries, with knowledgeable tour guides who know what’s what.

However, if it’s never meant to be for me again, well, I’m cool with that.

Dave’s not here

I’m not a huge or even frequent consumer but it’s sounds like you had the wrong strain for sure or simply too much or maybe it just doesn’t jive with your system…like mine and alcohol.

For me moderation in all aspects (well some) is the key!

yeah, when i was partying back in the day, there wasn’t any knowledge of strains. We just partied.

Sometimes, maybe one time in 10, it was really enjoyable. And I kept looking for that.

Listening to music is definitely more interesting. Playing music, too. Jamming with friends. Can be an absolute blast and cool things can happen that might not normally happen. We recorded a lot of jam sessions, and they are a riot to listen to.

But the mental thing. Grrrr.

I find the odor of cannabis (plant, dried, smoke) one of the most offensive EVER. It’s just the worst.

So, I’ve been taking these for a few years. Fantastic product. We also use tinctures on the cats and dogs.

Curious, what does CBD oil do for you? Relaxation? Sleep?

It was interesting, I tried some CBD gels for sleep, and it helped me a bit. No high, obviously, but the funny thing was that I would wake up in the morning like I had done seventeen bong hits the night before. Sooooo tired. :joy:

If you have another go at it, seek out the Sativa strains: Super Lemon Haze, Maui, Sour Diesel and the like…just sayin

Sativa dominant strains hype me up too much. Ok in the morning but not afternoon…my brain won’t slow down to sleep.

I’m really digging this US Fed gov funded strain from the 60s. Nice and mellow but potent at the same time. Doesn’t take much of it but a bit more than todays hyper enhanced THC levels weed.

But then I don’t tolerate caffeine at all either. I’ve tried CBD, tincture from Stanley Brothers Charolette’s Web and dry herb AC/DC and never got anything from either but a headache.

leafly.com is another good resource for stain info.

Sativa-definitely a daytime strain great for hikes or other outdoor activities…maybe not for hunting and the like though :slightly_smiling_face:

Given some of the posts which show up on the weekends especially, it should be illegal to post when stoned or drunk.
