Happy Thanksgiving

Hold off on the politics today and just talk about what you’re grateful for.

I’m grateful for being the luckiest man in the world, twice. :slightly_smiling_face: I can’t imagine why the universe decided I deserved this.

Happy Thanksgiving all!
Stuff to gripe about is usually pretty complicated. Stuff to be grateful for is usually pretty simple.

Happy Thanksgiving!

We will not have a party or a turkey this year since we are flying out to Taiwan (Hokkaido a few days later) on Eva Airline tonight. This would be the only night the airport is not busy. We will have light dinner at KLM lounge at SFO, and the food there is not bad, but drinks are all French (KLM is a French Airline lounge).

There are only five airlines in the world provided pajamas on long-haul Business Class and Eva is one of them. Japan Airline too, and the only US airline provides it is United (depends on flights). I do not remember the other two. Eva is known for their excellent airplane food (if such thing exists), and I pre-selected rack-of-lamb for dinner. No, they do not have turkey, and believe me you do not want to have turkey/gravy on Airplane.

14 hours flight is a drag, but I usually get drunk then have a few hours of good sleep. The fun starts tomorrow!

A happy Thanksgiving to all of our community here, and to Paul and all the great folks at PS Audio. I’m thankful for being alive almost 2 years now after 4-way cardiac bypass surgery, and that at 71 I can still get around, go to the gym, bike, play golf and pickleball, and I’m so grateful for the lifetime’s worth of friends and family I’ve collected. Some have gone on ahead as the years have passed, and while that’s sad, I’m grateful for the way they enriched my life. My complaints are few and minor, and I realize I’m a lucky man.

Thankful for just being alive, in great health (for a 75 year-old coot) and for all the generous folks here who are so willing to share their knowledge. Also the 5 bottles of wine that the 4 of us will enjoy this afternoon and evening.

I’m thankful for good health, family & friends, and great listening. I’m especially thankful for everything I’ve learned (and bought!) from this forum.
