Before we get on the road to distant family today, I wanted to take a moment to wish all my US pals here a happy Thanksgiving holiday, and to let everyone here know, regardless of what part of the globe you inhabit, that I’m grateful for the fellowship and community of the forum, and for the fine products and support from PS Audio.
Two years ago my 45-year audiophile journey had stagnated, and the off-chance purchase of a SGCD led me down a new path of rejuvenation and enjoyment the likes of which I could not have predicted. While I’m considerably poorer materially now than I was a couple years ago, I’m richer by far in the things that matter more to the soul. And every one of you here played a part in that. So thank you!
Have a safe journey and thanks for the meaningful post that so eloquently states how much fun this hobby can be and having others to discuss our joy with and take us farther than we’d likely attempt solo. Through sharing advice elation along with the trials and tribulations. A unique place that forms many options and leads us to challenge and change our perspectives on what is possible. A great reason to be thankful!
Well said @Craig_Burgess couldn’t agree more. This forum is so much more interesting and not at all hostile as other forums tend to be. Happy Thanksgiving to all who have shared their knowledge and time.
Best,
Kurt
First what a joy to have access to such a wonderful community. Collectivelysharing and caring about music and its faithful reproduction. Thank-ful for that. To all, be safe, healthy, and musical. Happy Thanksgiving.
Happy Thanksgiving to all and their families. Eat lots of turkey with all the trimmings. Take a minute to remember our military brothers and sisters standing guard wherever they are. God Bless them all.
Oh, and spin your favorite vinyl. Going to be in heavy rotation at Casa Owlsalum.
Cheer! ever since I joined the happy PSA family, I have not had this much fun since retirement (wow, is it really been three years?). Wish you all have a great Thanksgiving and gain a few pounds!
Sorry for the late reply but Happy Thanksgiving everyone. I’m thankful for all the friends and advice I’ve got from this forum! Hope everyone enjoyed the day!
Well said @Craig_Burgess. I’ve been on this “long strange trip” for 50+ years now, discovering psaudio and this community has been wonderful. Bravo to every member! The sharing for information, good, bad and indifferent is sweet. Take a bow everyone!
