Mine varied. I prefer the AC 12. But the stock is good.

I’ve just bought a PWT (2nd hand in Australia, I’m sorry, I didn’t have the $$ for the DSMP) & I plan to connect it via I2S to my DSJnr so I need to purchase a suitable HDMI cable for I2S duties.
I’m struggling to find the PS audio cables in AUS, any suggestions for a quality $100-$200 cable?
Also, as the DSJnr runs quite hot, should I place this on top of the PWT, otherway around or apart?

I would place the DAC on top although, if possible, I would not stack them as the PWT will transmit vibrations to the DAC.

I have tried the KableDirekt cable and don’t recommend it myself. I have also tried the PS Audio AC 10 and AC 12, the new PS Audio, a Mapleshade Audio, a Harmonic Technologies and a Purist Audio cable. The PS Audios, all 3, are my top 3 options, and then the Harmonic Technologies (it was a mid-line cable, not the one they make specifically for audio).

Hi Paul , for unknown reasons I do not have the stock cable and pulled the BlueJean cable from my video , I’ll send off a note to PS Audio and get one , i will certainly use it . I won’t miss going through evaluating cables , that’s for sure !
BTW , did I let you know how much I love my Direct Memory Player ? ; )

Just a follow up of the PS Audio 12s cable , “just wonderful” however currently I am Dacless waiting for MY NEW Direct Stream Dac to arrive ,.Ill say it again the Direct Stream Memory Player was the Best Audio component purchase in a long while so I thought I really needed PS Audios Best dac to compliment the DMP ,.,…can’t wait !

the boys at Magenta Audio sorted me out with a cable that normally ships with the DirectStream Memory Player so I’m sorted now…until I start wondering whether cable B sounds better than cable A but if Paul thinks the DSMP I2S HDMI cable is the best he’s heard, that will do me!
The PSA i2S cable is not marked as directional. Question is, do cables become directional with use?
There are those that believe this and I am not one of them. There can be a directional bias as we find in transformers in the presence of DC but it’s rare that DC would be present on interconnects. Power cables and transformers, yes. But then, you haven’t much choice on power cables since their male and female ends kind of dictate direction.

Since PS Audio’s HDMI-12 I2S cable is no longer available, where do I find a good one? Will it work connecting my Mac Mini HDMI output to my PSA DSD?
I’m surprised by that. In my system, whether going from an Oppo 203 to HDMI/I2S card to DSD, or cable box to Oppo, I find the I2S-12 far superior than current version in tonal accuracy, smoothness and staging, especially fore/aft.
